How can I contact you?
All contacts with Aurum Health take place through our digital platform. There you can send applications, book visits, upload documents and receive feedback from our specialists.
From which cities can I access the digital specialist in gynecology?
You can take advantage of Aurum Health’s digital specialist assistance, wherever you are, in Sweden or elsewhere.
Can I get help if I live abroad?
Yes. Aurum Health offers digital consultations both to Swedes living abroad and to international patients in Sweden, Italy or elsewhere. We provide expert medical support in gynecology, fertility and hormonal health, we offer advice on health data, we can give recommendations for challenges to clinics in different European countries and we offer support in multiple languages (Swedish, English, Spanish and Italian).
Note: Some services, such as medical record management or prescriptions, may require a Swedish ID number. If you don’t have it, we can still offer medical guidance and second opinions.
Do I need a referral to use your service?
No. You can contact us directly through our platform. We help you understand the situation and find the most suitable path — whether it’s advice, testing or specialist contact.
What if I don’t know exactly what I need?
That’s fine. You don’t need to have a diagnosis or know which path is the right one. Simply describe what you are experiencing and we will help you organize the information and identify the next step.
Can I get a prescription through you?
Yes, when it is clinically motivated and appropriate. The evaluation takes place in the context of digital care. Some medications may require a physical examination or additional tests before the prescription — in that case we explain what is needed and how to proceed.
Prescriptions and international validity
Prescriptions issued in Sweden follow Swedish legislation and are registered in the national electronic system.
If you are in Sweden, and you have a personnummer, you can pick up the prescribed drugs at any Swedish pharmacy by presenting the identity document linked to the electronic prescription. If you don’t have a personnummer, you might be required to pick up the medicines at a specific pharmacy,
If you are in another country in the European Union, many pharmacies can accept a paper Swedish prescription, but the possibility depends on the local rules of the country you are in and the type of medication. Some medicines can only be dispensed in the country where the prescription was issued.
Does Aurum Health have a physical clinic?
No. Aurum Health is a digital specialist clinic. All assistance takes place through video visits and digital channels.
What happens if I need physical assistance or further investigation?
We sometimes recommend or request further exams such as blood tests, ultrasounds or a physical visit. These are carried out at other suppliers and you book them yourself. We help you understand what is needed and we can tell you where to turn or direct you when needed.
Can you issue a referral letter if you think I need further assistance?
Yes, in some cases. We always carry out an individual assessment and can often help with referral letters in the context of digital care. We also offer guidance on how to proceed in primary, specialist or other healthcare facilities.
Is the service available in other languages?
Yes. We offer support in Swedish, English, Spanish and Italian. You can choose the language when you contact us.
How is care financed?
Aurum Health is a private clinic. Care is financed directly by the patient or through private health insurance. Private insurance can be used if the insurance company covers the cost; all management is between you and the company. Aurum Health does not contact insurance companies.
How do I pay for your services?
We accept most debit and credit cards and offer secure payment solutions. Prices are shown in Swedish Crowns (SEK). The conversion to Euro (EUR) or other currencies takes place automatically through your bank or payment provider. You can also consult an indicative equivalent in EUR via a currency converter.
What are the booking and cancellation conditions?
For visits and consultations
When booking a visit or consultation, a non-refundable booking fee of 150 SEK is included in the total price. If you cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance, you’ll receive a refund for the remaining amount (the paid fee minus the booking fee). However, there’s no refund for cancellations that occur after 24 hours or no-shows .
